I am so excited to announce that we will begin in-person Student Nights (a.k.a. Student Night Live) at the church on September 30th. We will be having both Student services and Student LifeGroups weekly on Wednesday nights at the church for the foreseeable future in order to maximize the amount of space available for students to use. Please see the below video for a detailed description of expectations and procedures for students who attend Student Night Live (SNL) in person. If you, or your student, are not ready to attend SNL in person, we will continue to stream the student messages, upload them to our YouTube channel, and provide ways for your student to engage in small group discussion virtually each week. If you are interested in learning how your student can attend SNL virtually, please email Karen Smith (karen.smith@lifepointplano.org) for further information.

In order to better serve you, your student, and follow the guidelines set by Texas Executive Order GA-29, all individuals 6th grade and above will be required to wear a mask inside the Students center. Leaders will be required to wear masks at all times as well.

We have implemented new safety protocols to maintain as much safety as possible for your student:

  1. As always, all classrooms and common areas will be cleaned and disinfected before every Wednesday evening.
  2. All students and leaders will sanitize their hands upon entering the student center; we have hand sanitizer stations set up immediately upon entering through the glass doors of the Student center.
  3. We have redesigned the student worship center by spacing all chairs 6′ apart, and will be swapping out all chairs between the the Middle School service and High School service. All Student LifeGroups will take place in separate classrooms. Once Student LifeGroups have concluded, students will be picked up by their parents at the front Southeast entrance of LifePoint Church. This will allow our students to worship together, learn from God’s Word, and engage with one another in small group discussion with friends while maximizing safety.
  4. Students will not interact with any classroom other than the one designed for their particular LifeGroup for any reason. They will be seperated to maintain social distance.
I am so excited to have students back in our building and cannot wait to see everyone again soon. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
