On Campus Serving

At LifePoint our mission is to join people seeking purpose and connect them to life through Jesus Christ. Serving is a big part of joining people on our church campus.

Why Serve?

We are all parts of His one body, and each of us has different work to do. And since we are all one body in Christ, we belong to each together, and each of us needs all the others.

On Campus Opportunities

Sunday Morning

Welcome Team
Serve every other Sunday at one of our services by greeting, taking the offering and serving communion. Feel a part of a team and enjoy developing relationships while serving.

Guest Services Team
The Guest Services Team has first time guests as their primary focus. Once identified, we offer to show them around the campus, help them find the kids and student programs and offer a free cup of coffee. Serve every other Sunday at one of our services, and you get to wear a LifePoint t-shirt to identify you as a part of the team.

Medical Team
Are you a nurse, doctor or EMT? If so, an easy way to serve is our Medical Team. Serve by carrying a pager and medical bag in one of our services to be on call for an emergency.

Coffee Bar Team
Serve once every 6 weeks by serving coffee, doughnuts, and water to our guests. Enjoy getting to know others in our warm and friendly environment in the LifePoint lobby.

Parking Team
Join us at special events and special services to help direct people to parking. This is a periodic commitment. If you like telling people where to go, this team is for you!

Worship Arts

Vocal Worship Ensemble
Love to sing? Participate in the Sunday services by serving on the choir once per month.

Instrumental Team
Play an instrument? Join our Instrumental Team, which serves every 3 weeks. Instruments can include: guitars, bass, drums, percussion, piano, keyboards, horns (trumpet, trombone, saxophone), and strings (violin, cello).

Technical Arts Team
For those who enjoy technology, the Technical Arts Team is a great way to get to know others while controlling audio, video and lighting. Serve every 3 weeks during both services.

Post Service Prayer Team
Have a heart for prayer? Join us in the Connection Room immediately following one of the services to pray for those who request it. Serving rotation is generally once a month.

Pastor George’s Prayer Team
Meet on Tuesday evenings with Pastor George to pray for our church.

Care Ministry
Our Stephen Ministers are highly trained to care for people going through times of transition. A training class is held beginning in October of each year. If you have the spiritual gifts of mercy and encouragement, this ministry is for you!
